Liliana R. Cuenca Pletsch

Professor of the Information Systems Engineering career since 1986, Director of the Center for Applied Research in ICT – CLnAPTIC for 3 years and 3 months. Academic Secretary from 2017 to the present. Dean of the National Technological University in the Regional Faculty of Resistencia from 2009 to 2017. Vice Dean between 2006 and 2008, and Director of the Department of Information Systems Engineering. Among his studies he has: Diploma of Advanced Studies corresponding to the Doctorate in Computer and Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering at the University of Malaga between 2007 and 2008. Master in Informatics and Computing, Informatics at the National University of the Northeast – Faculty of Exact, Natural Sciences and Surveying. Master in Computer and Systems Engineering at the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste between 1999 and 2002. Degree in Information Systems Engineering at the National Technological University between 1985 and 1993.

Maria de los Milagros Gutierrez

Dra. María de los Milagros Gutiérrez is an Engineer in Information Systems and a PhD in Engineering, Mention in Information Systems from the UTN – FRSF, has category II in the Incentive Program for research teachers of the Argentine Republic. She is currently the director of the Department of Information Systems Engineering and an undergraduate and graduate professor at said faculty. She directs research projects in the area of ​​Artificial Intelligence and is the author of numerous articles published in magazines and conference proceedings. He is in charge of doctoral, master and graduate fellows. He is a member of the executive committee of the CIDISI research center, he is a member of scientific committees of national and international congresses and periodical scientific journals. She served as a counselor on the board of directors for the teaching staff at UTN – FRSF. He has participated in various projects of knowledge transfer and extension to the socio-productive environment.

José C. Quadrado

José Carlos Quadrado was born on May 16, 1968, in Lisbon, Portugal.
Innovative, good communicator and experienced president of engineering
institute and international leader in engineering education worldwide, he holds
a full professorship position with tenure on electrical machines in the Instituto
Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), one of the leading and the oldest
reference-engineering public institutes in Portugal. He has a BSc in Energy and
Power Systems (1989), a diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation
and Industrial Electronics from ISEL (1991), a MSc (1994) and a Doctor degree
(2000) in Electrical Engineering and Computers from Lisbon Technical University
(UTL). He also holds the Habilitation degree (Aggregation) in Electrical
Engineering (2007) from Beira Interior University (UBI). Holds the position of
president of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies
(IFEES) and the position of immediate-past president of the Ibero-American
Engineering Education Association (ASIBEI), and immediate vice-president of
the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI). Being a former National
Bologna Expert Group member he leads the Portuguese Observatory on
Strategic Management Best Practices as well as the National Association of
Engineering Deans. Senior member of several engineering societies and
engineering education societies in several continents, he is also a visiting
professor in many universities around the world. Currently he is also the
president of a research and project center on electrical machines control and
applications (CIPROMEC) and is member of the board of a high tech
development company (LÓGICA). He holds over 100 international publications
(including journals and chapters of books), several patents and some
international technical prizes and scholarships, and also occupied the position of
editor and editor-in-chief in some journals. Up to now he has also developed
several international engineering education projects as well as some
engineering projects in the fields of renewable energy, fuel cells, electrical
vehicles and intelligent control.

Maria M. Larrondo Petrie

Dr. Maria Mercedes Larrondo Petrie is the Co-Founder and Executive Director, Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions (LACCEI); Associate Dean of International Affairs and Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, at the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, USA.

Dr. Larrondo Petrie has over 20 years of demonstrated teaching excellence and leadership in public higher education. She has been appointed the Associate Dean of Academic and International Affairs for the College of Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. She was named a McKnight Fellow by the Florida Endowment Fund, and selected and funded by the National Science Foundation to participate in the Women in Engineering Leadership Summit. Dr. Larrondo Petrie is an active participant and leader in professional societies including; serving on the Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES), Vice President of Research of the Founding Executive Board of the Latin American & Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions (LACCEI), elected to the Board of Directors of the Minorities in Engineering Division and of the International Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Her research interests focus on modeling complex systems, security, software engineering, and pedagogy.
