This event will focus on the impact of Covid-19 on learning, teaching and research activities of Women Engineers. The transition of learning from face-to-face to online-based activities have had both good and detrimental effects on the learning and research experience for students, and teaching and research experience for academics. We have gone through lockdowns several times. During lockdowns, we understand that in particular, women had to come up with ways to carefully balance their lifestyles and manage their work like learning, teaching and research. In the light of the present situation in Sydney, two months of lockdown and extension till October, we have planned to discuss all these factors that women engineers are facing in the form of a panel discussion. The panel will consist of academics, students and tutors from Sydney and overseas. This session will be interactive and we plan to have an open question answer session with the panelists to hear from them as well as share our views. Panelists: Dr. Kristen Splinter (UNSW), Warunika Hippola (Sri Lanka Section), Sancheeta Pugalia (UTS), Tharushi Nathasha (MQ) Co-sponsored by: UTS WIE Group sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 2122, Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/281341
