IEEE SIGHT Hits The Road – Bali!

“IEEE SIGHT Hits the Road in Indonesia, Bali – Accelerating Humanitarian Technologies applications growth” 2019 aims to accelerate the growth of humanitarian technology in Indonesia by developing a strong network and know-how for humanitarian technology developments and applications, especially through with the support of IEEE.
It is jointly-organized by IEEE SIGHT on eHealth & Telemedicine Indonesia, The Biomedical Engineering Department of Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Udayana University’s IEEE WIE Affinity Group and Student Branch, and fully supported by the IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC) Event Grant.
The main part of the event would comprise of a workshop on how to design, obtain funding, and implement humanitarian technology activities with the support of IEEE.
In the afternoon, there is an optional hands on writing workshop on developing a proposal for humanitarian technology activities funding. Participants of the writing workshop are asked to submit an extended abstract of their humanitarian technology application idea to apkoesoema@gmail.com by Monday, 8th April 2019.
