IEEE NSW WIE Affinity group is organising a workshop, in collaboration with WIEE, MQ WIE, UTS WIE and UOW WIE affinity groups, on the topic of “professional development” which will be held during IEEE NSW flagship event UNITE’2019. This workshop aims to help participants to learn and develop the skills required for professional development. There will be a discussion forum followed by speakers’ talks.

Current job market is highly competitive and ever changing. To grow in your career, specific set of skills are required in addition to the technical skills. This workshop will help in learning and nurturing skills which are useful for professional growth. Experts from various fields will give tips on building your personal brand using social media, highlighting your skills in resume, and/or developing networking skills. Speakers will share their experience in mentoring students. This workshop is organized for all IEEE members including WIE, YP and students.
