It is our pleasure to invite you to be part of the IEEE ISGT Europe 2016 Conference, which will be held in the city of Ljubljana, Slovenia, from October 9th to 12th, 2016.
The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) has more than 30,000 members and together we map the future direction of the industry. Topics like Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy have generated a level of excitement not seen in our industry for many years. With strong technical, scientific and cultural foundations, the IEEE is an independent, non-profit organization that serves member countries on a voluntary basis and is recognized by ISO as an international standardization body in its fields.
The conference focuses on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies and also covers traditional subject areas relating to planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and interoperability of electricity generation, transmission, distribution and utilization systems.
Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a dynamic Central European city lying in a broad basin between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, it has a population of 276,000 and a predominantly continental climate. Although Ljubljana is one of the youngest capitals in the European Union, it nevertheless reveals a long history and a real wealth of cultural and artistic monuments.
