Operational implementation of hybrid renewable generation and storage platform

SICAE is a French electricity DSO deeply involved in the energy transition. Its territory is heavily impacted by renewable generation and its grid management faces several concerns such as : peak shaving, backfeed power, transformer loading, voltage control… Sicae decided to invest in R&D projects in order to investigate batteries capabilities to support the energy transition. A focus will be made during the presentation on a project called Capitole, involving a mix of renewable production and storage, main objective being to demonstrate with storage units, the possibility to support the flexibility of power distribution network.
