The 4^th IEEE Nigeria Section International Conference (NIGERCON 2022) will be held in Abuja, Nigeria, from May 17^th– 19^th, 2022. The theme of the Conference is Disruptive technologies for Sustainable development. The Conference aims to bring researchers, academicians, scientists, Industry experts/practitioners, government agencies, and students together to participate and showcase the results of their current research findings. Only original technical articles (empirical, practical, and theoretical) will be considered under the following sub-themes: Smart Devices, Materials and Processing, Engineering Education, Humanitarian Activities, Communication, Power and Energy/ Energy & Sustainable Technologies, ICT, and Embedded technologies (Smart City, IoT, Cloud, etc), Cyber Security & AI Computing Technologies, Engineering in Medicine and related fields.

Two types of paper submissions will be accepted:

1. Scientific research papers (Full Papers)- mature results or completed projects and should not exceed five (5) pages, a mandatory over length page charge of Ten thousand Naira (per page) is required for every page more than five (5) pages.
2. Industry experience reports or in-depth case studies – interim results, experiences, and perspectives, for practitioners and should be up to 3 pages in length including a short reference section. Papers that meet IEEE standards of SI not exceeding 30% will be published in “IEEE Xplore.

The 2022 Nigercon is a hybrid conference. Hence, there will be two forms of presentations:

• In-person Presentation
• Virtual Presentation

• IEEE Xplore articles are abstracted and indexed in notable providers like Scopus, Web of Science etc.
• Peer review from experts ensures strong and credible research.
• IEEE publications are trusted sources for researchers in corporations, academia, and government.
