The 5th IEEE Nigercon conference with theme “Empowering Humanity: The Future of Electro-Computing Technologies” at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria from 26-28 November, 2024, focuses on the transformative impact of advanced electro-computing technologies on society. It emphasizes how innovations in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and IoT can drive progress across various sectors, including healthcare, education, industry, and communication. The conference aims to explore cutting-edge research, foster collaborations, and discuss practical applications that enhance human capabilities, improve quality of life, and address global challenges. By bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners, the event seeks to chart a course for the future development and integration of these technologies to benefit humanity. GUIDE TO AUTHORS
Two types of paper submissions will be accepted:
a) Scientific research papers (Full Papers)- mature results or completed projects and should not exceed 8 pages;
b) Industry experience reports or in-depth case studies – interim results, experiences, and perspectives, mainly for practitioners and should be up to 3 pages in length including a short reference section. Papers that meet IEEE standards of SI not exceeding 20% will be published in IEEE Xplore & submitted to Scopus (i.e. SI of between 10-15% will be accepted).
