Keynote Title: Exploration on Theoretical and Technological Framework of Distributed Smart Grid

Abstract:

Distributed Smart Grid (DSG) is a crucial component in the development of future power systems in the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Compared with traditional distribution networks, DSG is a new type of distribution network designed to address the current trends in generation, load and storage development. Its operation and control are marked by a strong interdisciplinary nature and the integration of theory with engineering practice.

This talk first synthesizes the current domestic and international development, analyzes the development trends and new characteristics of generation, grid, load and storage in future power systems. To adapt to new development trends, this talk explores the concept of DSG: a power distribution network centered around massive, distributed energy sources, with a high degree of self-balancing capabilities for power and energy, as well as advanced intelligence. To support the functional goals of DSG, this talk also presents the DSG organizational architecture and finally summarizes the theoretical framework of DSG.
