Agenda updates and room changes

Please notice the following agenda updates and room changes:

Wednesday 26th:

• Special Session SS 4 “Enabling Technologies and Methodologies for Wide Area Monitoring Protection and Control Systems” is moved to room  BL27.0.4 
• Plenary Session P3 “Transfer of Knowledge: a guide to publish your research” is moved to room  BL.27.0.1  (streaming: BL.27.0.2, BL.27.0.3 and BL.27.0.4)
• Bus service to Gala Dinner location will start at 17:45 from Via Lambruschini –  Last bus leaving at 18:20 .

Thursday 27th:

• Special Session SS 9 “Validation and De-Risking of Grid Modernization Technologies with Hardware in the Loop Testing” will be in the morning ( 10:30 – 12:10 ) in room BL.27.0.4

The 13th IEEE PES PowerTech Conference will be held at the Bovisa Campus of Politecnico di Milano.

Welcome Reception will be in the  Leonardo Campus of Politecnico di Milano  located in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci on Sunday June 23 from 18:00 to 20:00: we are looking forward to meeting you there!

The registration desk will be available during the welcome reception, following this schedule:

• Sunday 23rd, 17:30-20:00 in  Leonardo Campus (Welcome Reception location)

This website is now hosted on a new server and all previous malfunctions should have been solved.

Update May 23rd:

This website may experience malfunctions due to maintenance operation by IEEE on its servers.

In fact, IEEE is performing maintenance activities to its hosting service, in order to improve server security and performance.
For this reason, some malfunctions (broken links, missing pages, etc…) are foreseen and may occur with this website as well:
IEEE is working hard to restore the full functionality as soon as possible.

A new release of the preliminary program is available here, including all the accepted papers.

Please remember:

• In order for your paper to be included in the final Conference Program and in the Proceedings, the corresponding registration fee must be paid by the early-bird deadline: May 10, 2019.
• An oral presentation is required for all sessions.
• Detailed program of Special Sessions (SS) and European Project sessions (EP) will be available soon on the program page.

Due to the large number of submissions (more than 900), the paper review process is not completed yet.

As we are asking all of the commitee members to complete their reviews, we plan to make a final decision in one week and notify the acceptance to authors by March 8th, 2019.
