Venue & Travel

Venue

The SG4SC 2018 will take place in Belgium, in the city of Genk, located less than 100 km from Brussels and easily accesible via public transport. Genk is a young city that cleverly developed on the fundations of its rich mining past: an agricultural village that grew into a true city due to its dynamics and versatility. A city that also presents itself on Flanders’ economic map. It is a city full of interesting contrasts.
EnergyVille is an association of the Flemish research institutes KU Leuven, VITO, imec and UHasselt in the field of sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems. EnergyVille hosts state-of-art research facilities on sustainable energy in an urban environment (www.energyville.be) .
