Student Poster Presentation Session

Poster Presentation Details (Day 3; 14 Nov 2019 11:30 to 12:30 Noon)

  • Poster presentation will be in three different tracks (Image Processing, Instrumentation and Signal Processing & Biology)

  • Each poster will be given 6 minutes to present and 2 minutes to answer the queries raised by jury

  • The poster should be preferably in the given format (https://tinyurl.com/poster-template-sps-2019)

  • The dates in the poster should be 12 to 14 Nov 2019

  • It is good practice to include students and guides name in the poster

Selected posters after review will be published as a special issue of International Journal of Biomedical and Clinical Engineering (IJBCE)

Competition Guidelines

The poster must include the following:

  • Title

  • Names of author(s) and affiliated organization(s)

  • Introduction

  • Aims and Objectives

  • Methodology

  • Results (tables, graphs, charts)

  • Conclusions

  • Discussion of possible future directions or why project is complete

Other Pointers 

  • Last day for poster submission is 25 Oct 2019  31 Oct 2019

  • Selection will be announced on 1 Nov 2019

  • Only students who are pursuing PhD (full time/Part time), PG or UG are allowed.

  • Poster topics may be related to any Biomedical Engineering (signal processing, Image processing, instrumentation, etc related to Biomedical).

  • Ideas as posters are also strongly encouraged.

  • Template for poster can be downloaded from https://tinyurl.com/poster-template-sps-2019 

  • No Need of printing posters as e-posters will be displayed. 

  • Poster should be a maximum of 2 slides only

  • Plagiarism or unethically practices are strictly not allowed. 

  • Ideas can also be presented.

  • Certificate of presentation of poster will be given

  • Best poster award/s will be receiving prizes and Award certificate
