  • Paper Submissions: August 6th 2021 August 20th 2021 (11:59 pm, Hawaii time zone)
  • Paper Acceptance: September 17th 2021 October 1st 2021
  • Camera Ready Paper Submission: October 15th 2021 
  • Early Registration: October 15th 2021
  • Conference dates: December 4th to 7th 2021

Policy on Multiple Submissions

IEEE SSCI 2021 will not accept any paper that is under review, has been accepted, or has been published in any other venue at the time of submission or during the review process of IEEE SSCI 2021.

Submission and Registration Restrictions

There are no restrictions on the number of papers submitted by a single author. However, each accepted paper must have at least one of its authors with full registration to the conference. Full registration covers up to two accepted papers.

Paper Length and Format

Each paper should be between 6 and 8 pages including figures, tables and references. A maximum of two extra pages per paper is allowed (i.e, up to 10 pages), at an additional charge of US$100 per extra page.

All papers should be submitted using the IEEE two-column conference style file.

LaTeX and Word Templates

To help ensure correct formatting, please use the IEEE style files for conference proceedings as a template for your submission. These include LaTeX and Word style files. The MS Word and LaTeX instructions and templates can be found Here.

PDF eXpress

All final manuscripts (Camera Ready Papers) must be generated using the PDF eXpress tool.

To generate the IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file of your paper, follow these steps:

1. Create your IEEE PDF eXpress account: http://www.pdf-express.org

2. Ener the conference ID: 50451X

3. The first time you access the system, please follow the link to new user. Please note that in order to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from the PDF eXpress website. Once you have registered as a new user:

  1. Upload the source file (containing your paper) for conversion.
  2. Receive by e-mail the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper.

Archiving policy

IEEE allows authors to have their paper appears in a public archive such as Techrxiv (https://www.techrxiv.org/) or Arxiv (https://arxiv.org/). The PSPB Operations Manual (www.ieee.org/documents/opsmanual.pdf) contains the policies related to posting of preprints of articles submitted to IEEE publications.

Copyright

All accepted papers at IEEE SSCI 2021 will be published in the IEEE SSCI 2021 proceedings, copyrighted by IEEE

When you upload  your final camera ready copy of your accepted paper using the link in the Acceptance email, you will  be automatically taken to the IEEE copyright page. Please complete all requested feels to ensure that you complete the IEEE copyright document. You will also automatically receive a copy of signed copyright form  via email confirming that you have completed successfully. 

Note: The copyright code should NOT be included by the author(s) on the camera ready copy of the paper. This will be done when the proceedings are compiled.
