Special Session: Computational Intelligence and Cognitive Science (CIMEX)

The Computational Intelligence and Cognitive Science special session focuses on studying Artificial Intelligence methods as models of human cognitive processes. It involves computational analysis of phenomena related to human perception, language, and society, utilizing techniques such as cognitive conceptual learning, granular computing, attention models, and adopting a multidisciplinary approach.

Rather than solely emphasizing data processing, research in this field aims to explore cognitive processes, understand and implement learning from various perspectives, investigate the functioning of the human brain to develop brain-computer interfaces, analyze textual and dialogue interfaces considering emotional aspects, user profiling, and the impact of solutions for health and medicine.

Topics

This special session expects to receive papers on diverse topics including:

  • Human-centered representation of mechatronic processes
