Special Session: Computing Intelligence in Scheduling and Optimization of Complex Systems (CISO)

Under the tendency of Industry 4.0 and the digital economy, interdisciplinary fusion is becoming increasingly evident, with manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and supply chain systems cooperating with each other. The demand for modeling, scheduling, and optimization is becoming increasingly urgent and unmanned and intelligent elements become more prevalent. The development of computational intelligence technology, particularly artificial intelligence technology driven by the growing industrial big data, has shown vast application prospects in engineering applications in various industries. This topic aims to bring together scholars in the fields of manufacturing, transportation, logistics, and supply chain to explore and exchange innovative applications of computational intelligence technology in modeling, simulation, scheduling, optimization, etc., and to promote the collaborative development and innovation of related links in manufacturing, transportation, logistics, supply chain, etc.

The main topics include but are not limited to:

  1. Machine learning in large scale multi-objective and many-objective optimization problems
  2. Data driving scheduling and simulation
  3. Swarm intelligence for Multi/Many-objective Scheduling
  4. Computing intelligence in harbor logistics
  5. Computing intelligence in manufacturing systems
  6. Computing intelligence in multimodal transportation
  7. Computing intelligence in postal express and smart delivery logistics
  8. Digital twin-based optimization for intelligent manufacturing, transportation and supply chain
