This year we are introducing a 3-Minute PhD Pitch competition as part of UKCAS 2021.
You will need to design a presentation to pitch-in your PhD idea, discussing the motivation, the scientific challenges and the research you are or will be undertaking.
An important consideration of this competition is a high-level message showing why your research matters and what impact it has or will have. Avoid being too vague or too technical. Most importantly, energise your audience!
Competition Prizes:
The winner will receive a certificate and £200 cash prize.
The first runner up will receive a certificate and £150 cash prize.
The second runner up will receive a certificate and £100 cash prize.
