5G focus is not to provide connectivity only to persons but also to machines and systems. 5G mobile communications focus a broad range of new services and applications tailored to different vertical domains such as agriculture, health, and industry. One of the 5G challenges is to work in cooperation with these different verticals and understand their specific needs.
In general, events focusing 5G bring technical specialists and practitioners from this area but do not involve the specialists from the verticals that usually remain outside of the 5G community.
The main goal of the “Dialogues between 5G and Vertical Domains” is to bring specialists from different verticals to expose a more profound vision of the area to the 5G community.
The structure of this vertical track is a set of three different panels, each one focusing on one vertical, considering: Agriculture, Health, and Industry.
Each panel will get deeper into each one of these verticals by bringing specialists in each vertical domain and a specialist from the 5G area.
The current 5G status around the world is the right moment to enhance the discussion about 5G exploitation inside the different verticals by strengthening the dialogue with the various domains, and this vertical track will be an extraordinary opportunity for that.
