Denise Griffin
Denise Griffin is in her fourth year as the IEEE Region 1 Women in Engineering Coordinator. She is coordinating the Career Fair for the 2018 IEEE WIE Forum East Career Fair and was the Chair of the 2016 IEEE WIE Forum East in Boston. She recruited the WIE Boston Steering Committee, served as the Chair for 3 years, increased its membership by 30% and led the group to receive the WIE Affinity Group of the Year Runner Up award 2 years in a row. She was the IEEE representative to Engineers Week New England for 7 years, responsible for securing corporate sponsorship. She was on the Steering Committee for the IEEE NATW Conference and ran a session on Women in Engineering. She is currently serving on the Steering Committee for IEEE Future Leaders Forum responsible for the Career Expo.
Denise has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and works as an Independent Contractor in the area of Business Intelligence specializing in data analysis and operations.
