Maryam Rahmani

Maryam Rahmani is a consultant and a strategist committed to using technology and the power of collaboration to solve challenges facing enterprises. Maryam serves on the advisory board of several start-ups. She is a board member of the Society of High-Performance Computing Professional (SHPCP). Most recently, she served as the Global Partnership Officer at Global Cyber Alliance, an international nonprofit organization. Maryam holds a Master of Science in cybersecurity policy from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Maryam is deeply committed to outreach and awareness activities in support of encouraging more women to pursue careers in science and technology especially information security. She has been serving as the Technical Program Co-Chair and Forum Co-Chair for the IEEE Regions 1 & 2 Women in Engineering (WIE) Forum East since 2016. She is active in IEEE-Computer Society, and ISSA Women in Security (WIS) Security Interest Group (SIG).
