Anthony Ruocco is a Professor of Computer Science and Program Coordinator of the Computer Science Program at Roger Williams University in Bristol RI.  Prior to Roger Williams, he was the Associate Director of Computer Science in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the US Military Academy at West Point New York.  He served in various positions and assignments over a 24 year career as a commissioned officer in the US Army. He teaches courses in Computer Theory, Software Design, Software Engineering and Secure Programming.

Dr. Ruocco serves as the Chair of the IEEE Providence Section and is Chair of the Providence Section Computer Society Technical Chapter.   He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Senior Member of the ACM.  Dr. Ruocco is supporting the 2022 IEEE WIE Forum (East) as a local member of the IEEE Providence Section.

Anthony has a doctorate from George Mason University, A masters in Computer Science and masters in Operations Research and Statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic University.  He received a BS in Engineering from the US Military Academy in West Point.
