Jason Gaudette is an Associate Director at Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) Maritime Advanced Technologies in Portsmouth, RI.  His research and development interests span underwater acoustics, array signal processing, embedded electronics, neuromorphic computing and computational neuroscience.  He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in scientific computing and electronics at Brown University and Roger Williams University.

Dr. Gaudette serves as an active member and was the former Chair (2020-2021) and Secretary (2017-2018) of the IEEE Providence Section’s Executive Committee.  He is also the Treasurer and former Chair (2016-2021) of the Providence Section’s Signal Processing Technical Chapter.  Jason is supporting the 2022 IEEE WIE Forum (East) as a local member of the IEEE Providence Section.

Jason has a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Rhode Island, and bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
