John is a Senior Life Member of IEEE, retired now with over 45 years of industrial and DoD/Naval Civilian R&D experience, developing submarine sensors and combat systems and trainers, numerous Fleet and Field assignments, and international engagement through DoDs Foreign Comparative Test program and NATO Science and Technology efforts. He is the Industrial Relations lead at the IEEE Providence Section, and a champion for local STEM efforts like DiscoverE’s annual Future City competition, the RI Students of the Future and their annual RI Robotics Block Party and the annual MATE Remotely Operated Vehicle competition.
