Carrie Root, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Alpha UMi, spent over two decades as a high-level trouble shooter for the Department of Defense and NOAA. While working in this capacity, she was an engineering consultant–she lived “Leading without Authority” daily while working with large and small corporations and other government agencies.
