Denise Griffin is a past Region 1 WIE Coordinator, a Senior Past Chair of the Boston Section, and the current Region 1 Northeastern Area Chair.

For 2024 Denise will be the WIE Forum Career Fair Coordinator, and was a Conference Co-Chair for the 2016 Boston WIE Forum.  She is on the Board of Governors for IEEE-HKN, the Awards and Recognitions Committees for both MGA and IEEE-USA, the WIE Magazine Editorial Board, WIEC N&A Committee, and is the 2025 Sponsorship Chair of the IEEE Rising Stars Conference, She is passionate about creating programs and partnerships which impact thousands of students and professionals every year and furthering the goals of WIE and IEEE.

Denise has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, where she is an active Alumni volunteer, and works in Customer Success and Technical Program Management.
