Accommodations

We have arranged for a block of rooms at the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa, Stamford, CT.  These rooms have been blocked to give attendees a special conference rate between November 7, 202 through November 9, 2024.  The special nightly conference rate is $209.00 per room (single and double occupancy).  Guest room rate will be available 3 days prior and post conference, based on availability.  PLEASE NOTE: If you want to book outside the core meeting dates of November 7-9, you may have to call the hotel directly and say you are booking for the IEEE Meeting.

Rates are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (which are 15%) per day.

All guests will be responsible for making their own hotel registration, reservation and payments directly with the hotel.  Attendees are responsible for all charges associated with their respective room reservations.

To qualify for these rates, you must make reservations directly with the Hotel by using the conference reservation link.  The block will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis until it is full.  All reservations must be guaranteed by October 16, 2024, the cut-off date.  Requests after this date will be taken on a space available basis at the conference rate.

Cancellation Policy: Cancel 6PM one day prior to arrival date for no penalty. Hotel may charge an early departure penalty if departure date is not changed prior to arrival. All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card.

Check-in time is 3PM

Check-out time is 12PM

AIR OPTIONS (5 servicing airports)

1. JFK Airport (~40 miles)
   Take I-678 N to I-95 N to exit 8 on Canal Street, turn right on to Tresser Blvd, hotel is on left.
2. LaGuardia Airport (~33 miles)
   Take Grand Central Pkwy to E ramp to Eastern Long Island. Take I-678 N, I-95 N to Stamford Take exit 8 to Canal Street turn right on to Tresser Blvd hotel is on the left.
3.  Newark Airport (~54 miles)
   Take I-78 N to I-95 N to exit 8 on Canal Street, turn right on to Tresser Blvd, hotel is on the left.
4. Westchester County Airport (~20 miles)
   Take Airport Rd to I-684 S Follow I-684 S, I-287 E take I-95 N to Stamford take exit 8 to Canal Street turn right on to Tresser Blvd. Hotel is on the left
5. Bradley International Airport (~90 miles)
   Take I-91 S to CT-15 S and I-95 S to exit 8. Continue onto N State St make a right into Hertz parking hotel is on the left.

TRAIN OPTIONS

• Metro North/Amtrak Stamford Station (Washington Blvd and S. State St.)
  Train service is available on the Metro North Railroad from Grand Central Station (NYC) or New Haven (CT) on Metro North to Stamford Station via the New Haven line. Stamford is also accessible via Amtrak (Stamford Station) from NYC and Boston.
  The Stamford train station is a 15-minute walk to the Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa (from Station Place walk West on Atlantic Street and North on N. State Street, hotel is on left).

PARKING:

Entrance is next to front entrance of hotel. Bring parking from parking lot garage ticket to the front desk for validation to receive the discounted rate of $14. Must identify as IEEE WIE Forum USA East attendee.

Internet: Wifi is complimentary in all guest rooms, public spaces and meeting spaces for our group.
