Available Grants

There are two sources of grants available to help offset or cover the costs of attending the forum. Recipients may only receive one grant, though they may apply for both — meaning, those awarded the WIE Affinity Group (AG) grant will not be eligible for the Charles and Rose Rubenstein Travel Grant, and vice versa. Additionally, both grants contain a no-show clause stating that if they were to cancel their registration or hotel room in any event, they will be responsible for reimbursing any grant money already paid to their respective source.

Please read the following grant guidelines carefully.

Women in Engineering Affinity Group (AG) Grant

Thanks to the generous support of AMBA, we are once again excited to offer a limited number of grants to support Region 1 and Region 2 WIE Affinity Group Chairs in attending the WIE Forum USA East. There are 10 grants available, each valued at $595. These grants will cover the following:

Grant Details:

  • Matching Funds Requirement: Each approved grant must be matched by your region, company, personal funding, or section. These funds are not intended to replace any Section or Region matching fund requirements.

  • Grant Amount: Up to a value of $595, reimbursed toward registration and hotel costs.

  • Application Submission Deadline: September 15, 2025

Eligibility:

  • WIE AG Chairs will be given priority.

  • If there are available grants after the WIE AG Chairs have been awarded, other active section officers who are also WIE members may be considered.

Application Process:

  • Complete the online application form by the September 15th deadline.

  • Region WIE Coordinators will review and endorse your application, and forward it to Charles Rubenstein, WIE Forum USA East Treasurer.

  • Final grant selections will be communicated directly to applicants.

Important Information:

  • No-show Policy: If selected for the grant but unable to attend, you will be responsible for canceling your hotel and registration; alternatively, you will be held responsible for reimbursing the WIE Forum for any grant funds disbursed on your behalf.

  • One Grant Per Applicant: Recipients of the Rubenstein Grant will not be eligible for this grant.

  • Priority for New Applicants: First-time applicants will be given priority. (On the form, please indicate if you have received this grant in previous years, and specify the year(s).)
