Denise Griffin is the on the HKN Board of Governors, a past Region 1 WIE Coordinator, a Past Chair of the Boston Section, and the current Region 1 Northeastern Area Chair.

For 2024 Denise is the WIE Forum Sponsorship Chair, and was a Conference Co-Chair for the 2016 Boston WIE Forum. She is very involved in awards programs and is on the Awards and Recognitions Committees for both MGA and IEEE-USA,. She is a longtime member of the WIE Magazine Editorial Board and is the 2025 Sponsorship Chair of the IEEE Rising Stars Conference and Co-Chair of Sponsorship for the WIE ILC. She is passionate about creating programs and partnerships which impact thousands of students and professionals every year and furthering the goals of WIE and IEEE.

Denise has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, where she is an active Alumni volunteer, and works at OneStream Software in Customer Success Operations.
