Deyasini received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Orissa, India. Following post-doctoral training at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada and Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada, she has had extensive experience in Medical Device, Aerospace and Defense, Computer Hardware and Semiconductor Industries. She currently works as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer at MKS Instruments Inc., Power Solutions, Rochester. At MKS, Deyasini is also a member of the Global Council, Woman@MKS and leads the efforts on Community Impact.
She is a Senior Member of IEEE and currently serves as the Program Co-Chair of IEEE WIE ILC 2025 and the Chair of IEEE WIE Rochester. Prior to this, she has served as a member of the IEEE Educational Activities Board, and in various capacities at the Section and Regional levels at IEEE Canada.
