Barbara utilizes her wealth of experience to drive the growth of CONNSTEP. She cultivates and maximizes relationships with key stakeholders and existing funders while also identifying new potential partners to broaden the scope and reach of CONNSTEP services. Barbara works closely with the senior management team, playing a pivotal role in enhancing and streamlining our manufacturing supply chain ecosystem. Additionally, she spearheads efforts to secure additional funding for our MEP center and fosters strategic partnerships aligned with CONNSTEP’s mission and vision.
Barbara has an extensive background collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including private and public entities such as federal and state agencies, other NIST MEPs across the United States, quasi-public organizations, foundations, national labs, federally funded research development centers, workforce boards, academic institutions, and regional economic development organizations. Her strategic capability and industry knowledge add significant value to all her engagements, ensuring a focused and impactful approach to achieving shared goals.
Barbara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics/Multicultural Studies from Trinity College, an MBA from The University of Connecticut, and has completed Executive Development programs at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School.
