Peter Shea, M.A is a seasoned learning professional with extensive experience in design, instruction, editing, writing, and professional development management. He is a strong advocate for immersive learning experiences and the use of learning analytics to inform effective design. For 12 years, Peter served as the Director of Professional Development at Middlesex Community College. Additionally, he has experience as a teaching assistant for an Adult Learning course at Harvard Extension School.

Peter co-edited the book *Transforming Digital Learning and Assessment: A Guide to Available and Emerging Practices and Building Institutional Consensus* (Routledge, 2021) and has been presenting on AI in education since 2019.

He also manages a Facebook group for instructional designers in education, which has grown to over 20,000 members globally. In 2020, he founded the LinkedIn group “AI in Education.”
