Nina Selak

Nina Selak is a principal project manager in the grid modernization department at ComEd. She is the technical project lead for the Bronzeville Community Microgrid which is the first utility scale microgrid designed to cluster with a neighboring behind the meter microgrid.

Nina has 10 years of industry experience in distribution automation, protection and control, substation design, renewable energy systems and project management. She was also the regional technical manager for the mountain venues as part of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games committee.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia and a master’s degree in renewable energy systems from the Technical University of Vienna.
