IEEE WIE Vision

The IEEE WIE group is dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, and inspiring young girls around the world to pursue careers in STEM. We envision a vibrant community of women and men collectively using their diverse talents to innovate for the benefit of humanity.
As one of the global initiatives to empower and support women, the IEEE WIE has launched the IEEE WIE International Leadership Summits program in 2016. This program supports the organization of ten annual leadership summits worldwide that provide networking and professional development opportunities for female engineers. We hosted the first WIE ILS in Canada in 2018. We are bringing WIE ILS to the Greater Toronto Area for the second time on Sep 24th -25th, 2022.
