Despite the invaluable contribution women have made in fields like STEM and Politics, we often find that there is less representation of women in the workforce. In some sectors and countries, these numbers are alarmingly low, leading to inaccurate decision making due to lack of holistic opinions.

Women serve numerous roles in the society, and it is their conviction to ace every responsibility they are entrusted with that inspires everyone. Amidst all these responsibilities, women take a step back from their career paths. One primary example of this is mothers.

Therefore, to encourage them to put their careers at the forefront and forge ahead, IEEE WIE ILS 2020 presents our second track: *Educate and Empower*. This track salutes and aims to embolden all *returning mothers*, as well as women enrolled in academic institutions or women wishing to further their studies, to work in the direction of their dreams.
