Dr. Preeti Bajaj  is currently Vice Chancellor Galgotias University, Greater Noida. Having 30 years rich academic administrative and research experience she had spent 21 years with G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur (wherein the institute was ranked by -NIRF ranked and NAAC A+ accreditations.   Under her leadership GHRCE has been awarded Autonomy, three cycles of NBA accreditation to all UG programmes, NAAC with A+ Grade, TEQIP World Bank project 1 and 2, NIRF ranking, ARIIA ranking. 14Cr under NIDHI TBI from DST.  Few flagship programs like GHR Connect, GHR Career Connect, Ignite, AI Summit, Smart City summit outreached to all corners of India. GHRCE received grant worth 27plus Crores, viz: DST-NIDHI-TBI, AICTE-Magradarshan, UGC-Paramarsh, World Bank-TEQIP-I & II under her leadership. Her efforts have made the institute mentor institute for 20 institutions in the country under AICTE Margadarshan and UGC Paramarsh. Her efforts have turned 208 projects into patents and ranked the institute in countries top 10 patent filers as per Indian Patent office report consistently for last 6 years.

Her expertise is in Computational Intelligence to Intelligent Transportation System, agriculture, Education data Mining and Healthcare. Her professional society affiliation includes Fellow- Institute of Engineers, Fellow IETE, Senior Member- IEEE,

She has served on various Governing bodies including General Council of National Board of Accreditations New Delhi, BOG of IEEE HKN USA, BOG Of many Academic Institutions, BOG of Vocational board of Maharashtra. She is passionate about Outcome Based Education and accreditations and have trained more than 1000 faculties PAN India. Ten have completed Ph.D. under her supervision and she is Ph.D. examiners to many universities. She has authored & co-authored 100 plus reviewed Publications with citations 1000  plus & h-index ratio 15 & i10-index ratio 28. She has coauthored three book chapters and co-inventor for 3 patents.  Dr. Bajaj holds several awards like which includes FICCI Road Safety awards

She is founder General Chair of ICETET series of eight IEEE Conferences.  She is very Active IEEE Volunteer for last 20 plus years, worked at Global regional, council, section level, subsection, branch level, Member Awards and Recognition committee IEEE MGA, asked to organize global consortium for women engineers by IEEE USA in sept 2020 and fetched many awards under that.

Strong belief in innovations, she is putting all efforts for creating an ecosystem for innovations, entrepreneurship and research at Galgotias University to transform private university to world-class university. In last 10 months she has brought reforms in examination processes, Academic Processes, enhanced Patent filing and working for NAAC accreditations and processes in place.
