The Faculty of Engineering at Monash University is proud to host the IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit in Melbourne in 2022. Some of our achievements, briefly are:
- We have achieved an excellent recruitment record by having gender balanced shortlists for all of our selection processes.
- Our Faculty industry advisory boards now include 40% women.
- Monash University is one of the very few Australian Universities with an Athena Swan bronze award status, awarded through the Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) Initiative.
- Monash Engineering established, along with like minded Deans and industry representatives, the Engineering for Australia taskforce, aiming to improve the gender representation in Engineers.
