Abstract

IEEE is committed to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. There are many humanitarian programs across the institute dedicated to utilizing IEEE’s fields of technical expertise to improve the human condition worldwide. At the forefront is the IEEE Humanitarian Technologies Board (HTB), with its vision of IEEE volunteers around the world carrying out and supporting impactful humanitarian technology activities at the local level. This workshop will provide the chance to learn more about HTB and the opportunities it offers IEEE members to get involved.
