She is known and sought after for her innovative thinking and entrepreneurial savvy. Amy is a Certified Implementer for a proven system that simplifies leadership and management to achieve organization-wide accountability. She teaches, facilitates, coaches, and graduates leaders and their teams on the journey to be their best.
A lifelong volunteer, Courter served 4 years as the National Commander and CEO of the Civil Air Patrol, a federally chartered nonprofit corporation and the civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. As CAP’s commander, Courter served as a Major General (2-star), the highest grade of CAP Officer. She led CAP’s 61,000-plus volunteers in fulfillment of the organization’s 3 missions: Emergency Services, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education.
