Dr. Excellence Favor
Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering- Kyambogo University
Dr. Excellence Favor is a professional with key qualifications in governance and total filed monitoring experience for more than 18 years in Electrical, Electronics, ICT and Telecommunications Engineering. She served as a member (Director) of Board of Directors National Information Technology Authority-Uganda, Head of telecommunication engineering section Kyambogo University. Currently, she is Lecturer at Kyambogo University and Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from University of Dar es Salaam.

She is very creative on fostering solutions to engineering problems in the areas of electrical, electronics, ICT, telecommunications engineering, Control Engineering, Machine vision, Image Processing, Microprocessor Education, Audio and Video (entertainment) Electronics and relations between Industry and University.
She is Dedicated to teamwork, driven by strong interpersonal and technical skills and ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and achieve results in difficult situations. She has capacity to think strategically in regards to long-term program goals while successfully managing the short-term priorities.
She has ability to analyze and solve problems at high levels in the organizations.She has research and innovation interests in all sectors of life. A passion of working for the needy groups of people ensuring that they are encouraged to never to give up in life, well treated, comforted and resettled.
