2023 IEEE International Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Electromagnetic Devices
(ASEMD2023)
Sponsored by IEEE Beijing Section and hosted by Tianjin University, ASEMD2023 will be held in Tianjin, China, from October 27 to 29, 2023.
The conference will focus on the topics of applied superconductivity, electromagnetic devices and power systems. It aims to provide a platform for research scholars, technicians and related personnel engaged in high-temperature superconductivity and other related topics to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understands academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote industrial cooperation of academic results.
The conference sincerely invites experts, scholars, business people and other relevant personnel from universities and scientific research institutions at home and abroad to participate in the exchange.
All the conference submissions are required to be presented in the conference. In order to ensure that all authors can participate in the conference, this conference also sets up an online meeting venue for individuals who have difficulty to reach the physical conference venue. Online participation needs special application.
ASEMD2023 registered participants will receive the conference author kit package by emails to proceed. Login code is required to attend the online virtual ASEMD2023 conference. The online conference procedure and operation details will be posted and the authors will be informed by emails.
The 1st ASEMD conference was held in Chengdu, China, on September 25-27, 2009; the 2nd was in Sydney, on December 14-16, 2011; the 3rd was in Beijing, China, on October 25-27, 2013; the 4th was in Shanghai on November 20-23, 2015; the 5th in Tianjin, China on April 16-18, 2018; and the 6th in Tianjin, China on October 16-18, 2020.
Applied superconductivity is generally categorized into material, electrical and electronic sections. Material synthesis and characterization, power applications, rotating machines, and magnet technology are essential components comprising one principal part of the ASEMD scope.
Electromagnetic devices, the other principal part of ASEMD, covers electric, magnetic, and electronic devices, either superconducting or not. This part also includes work in electromagnetic analysis, measurement, and automation.
ASEMD2023 continues its focus and provides a forum for both academic and industrial researchers in the relevant fields to discuss and share ideas, present results, reflect on past experiences and discuss future developments.
The contributed and accepted papers to the previous ASEMD conferences have been all published in its proceedings and uploaded to the IEEE Xplore digital library and been EI indexed, and also published in special issues of IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity after through the normal peer review process.
