IEEE CONCAPAN 2022 has moved to a new hotel venue

This is a special announcement from the CONCAPAN 2022 Organizing Committee
Due to special circumstances, still unknown to us, the venue hotel Sheraton Grand selected for this event has not been able to comply with the requirements regarding availability of rooms during the event days, situation that have forced us to consider a different alternative for our conference.
We are very glad to announce that we have been successful to find in an extremely short time an option that will provide even better conditions for the event and the participants than the previous one.
The new hotel reserved for the event is the Hotel RIU Panama Plaza, conveniently located in the middle of the banking and business center of Panama City.
The new hotel cost was also negotiated, and we will have a better rate of $95.00+tax in a single/double occupancy with the breakfast included. Reservations for the hotel are already available and you can do it through the link provided in our web site or at Riu Hotels & Resorts with the corporate code CONC22.
CONCAPAN is an event that has gone through many difficult situations during the this more than 40 years of history, but it is a very resilient event, and we are confident that this year, after a long wait caused by the pandemic, it will be reborn offering this space of opportunities for business, learning and make connections for all to grow in our region.
This situation with the hotel went totally out of our control. The hotel did not comply with the contract terms and the only option for us, to maintain the condition our participants expect in terms of logistics, accommodations, etc., was to find a new venue. And we are fortunate we did!!!

Estimados Participantes de la Exposición Técnica de CONCAPAN 2022
Este es un comunicado especial del Comité Organizador de CONCAPAN 2022
Debido a circunstancias especiales, aún desconocidas para nosotros, el hotel sede Sheraton Grand seleccionado para este evento no ha podido cumplir con los requisitos de disponibilidad de habitaciones durante los días del evento, situación que nos ha obligado a considerar una alternativa diferente para nuestra conferencia.
Estamos muy contentos de anunciar que hemos tenido éxito en encontrar en muy poco tiempo una opción que brindará incluso mejores condiciones para el evento y los participantes que la anterior.
El nuevo hotel reservado para el evento es el Hotel RIU Panama Plaza, convenientemente ubicado en medio del centro bancario y de negocios de la ciudad de Panamá.
También se negoció el nuevo costo del hotel, y tendremos una mejor tarifa de $95.00+tax en ocupación sencilla/doble con desayuno incluido. Las reservas para el hotel ya están disponibles y puede hacerlo a través del enlace provisto en nuestro sitio web o en el sitio del hotel Riu Hotels & Resorts con el código corporativo CONC22.
CONCAPAN es un evento que ha pasado por muchas situaciones difíciles durante estos más de 40 años de historia, pero es un evento muy resistente, y estamos seguros de que este año, luego de una larga espera por la pandemia, renacerá, ofreciendo este espacio de oportunidades de negocios, aprendizaje y conexiones para que todos crezcamos en nuestra región.
Esta situación con el hotel se salió totalmente de nuestro control. El hotel no cumplió con los términos del contrato y la única opción para nosotros, para mantener las condiciones que esperan nuestros participantes en términos de logística, alojamiento, etc., era encontrar un nuevo lugar. ¡Y somos afortunados de haberlo hecho!
