CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES

  • In order to participate in the activities of ISPEC2024, at least one author of each paper must register for the conference.
  • Each registration covers maximum of two (2) papers (only 1 presenter attending the conference) with a limit of 6 pages per paper. Each additional page will incur an additional fee of USD40 per page.
  • Payments of conference registration fees must be made by 30th September 2024, otherwise your paper will not be included in the proceedings.

ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE (EARLY BIRD/ NORMAL)

  • Regular registration fee (Early Bird/ Normal) includes:
    • a set of conference kit
    • admission to all tutorials, technical sessions, morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, lunches
    • conference gala dinner
  • Non-Presenter/Companion Participant (for 3-days ONLY) registration fee includes:
    • a set of conference kit
    • admission to all tutorials, technical sessions, morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks and lunches
    • gala dinner can be added by registering it for the fee of MYR250 (USD 60)

 

EARLY REGISTRATION (EARLY BIRD)

Authors who make their payment by 31 August 2024 will benefit from the Early Bird Registration rate.

IEEE & PES MEMBERS REGISTRATION

IEEE & PES members will receive a discount on the iSPEC2024 registration fee. Members are required to indicate their IEEE membership number during registration (please update your EDAS profile for IEEE and IEEE PES membership) and bring along their current IEEE membership card for verification at the conference.

STUDENT RATES

Participants are eligible for student rate if he/she is a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student. Students must email the scanned copy of their ‘Student Identification Card’ to ispec2024@gmail.com. Participants must bring along their Student Identification Card and/or IEEE Membership Card to the conference for verification.

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES

  • For International participants (outside Malaysia), registration fees are payable in United States Dollars (USD) using credit cards via the EDAS iSPEC2024 registration website at https://edas.info/registerPerson.php?c=31336
  • For Malaysian participants, payments in Ringgit Malaysia can also be made via wire transfer or interbank giro (IBG)/instant transfer or deposit of cheque/bank draft payable to the following:

  • All bank charges are to be borne by the participant. Notification with proof of payment made in Ringgit Malaysia as described above is to be emailed to the iSPEC2024 Finance Chair (ispec2024@gmailcom). Failure to do so may result in a delay in registration confirmation. Payments made are NOT refundable.

NO-SHOW AND ORIGINALITY POLICY

Please note that IEEE has a strict policy on “NO-SHOW.” The IEEE has implemented policies to exclude authors who do not present their papers from further distribution of their publication, such as exclusion from IEEE Xplore. Therefore, one of the authors or their representatives MUST present the paper at the event. Papers that have >30% similarity index will be rejected.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the conference secretariat. Any cancellation made within 30 days (by 25 October 2024) from the conference date will be subjected to a 50% cancellation charge. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty. No refund can be made after 25 October 2024. The conference secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.
