All fees are in US Dollars.

Registration includes: Access to all sessions (ISTAS21 & ETHICS-2021), conference program, and conference proceedings.

ISTAS21 requires at least one registered author/presenter per paper or presentation. Regular or Member registrations covers up to TWO papers; Discount Registration covers ONE paper.

All refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing to istas.21@uwaterloo.ca and received by 24 October 2021. There will be an administrative fee of $10 for students and $20 for other attendees deducted from each refund.

A number of FREE registrations are available for students and other individuals who have experienced financial hardship. To request a complimentary registration code, please email istas.21@uwaterloo.ca.

  • Students: please include the details of your institutional affiliation (university/college name and location), your program and level of study, and a 100-150 word statement outlining why attendance at the ISTAS21 conference will benefit your academic and/or professional development.
  • Other inquiries: please include your professional or institutional affiliation (if applicable), a 50-100-word statement outlining why you would like to attend the conference, and a brief rationale for your financial need.
