Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP), one of the most prestigious private higher education institutions in Mexico, is located in the oldest city in Latin America: Cholula, classified as a magical town, whose essence is the result of the combination of art, culture, history, traditions and modernity.

The UDLAP is located two hours from Mexico City, one of the most cosmopolitan and largest in the world, and twenty minutes from the city of Puebla, declared a World Cultural Heritage City by UNESCO, being in 2018 listed as the second “most interesting” city according to The Wall Street Journal and as one of the 10 “coolest” cities to visit according to Forbes. The history of UDLAP begins with Mexico City College founded in 1940, which planted the roots of an international university. Now, with more than 80 years of experience, it has consolidated itself as a private institution of academic excellence and, with more than seventy undergraduate and graduate study programs – in all areas of knowledge – offers a multicultural experience to its students that are reflects, more than 30 nationalities represented on the campus and more than 200 exchange agreements with nearly 42 countries.

UDLAP students receive comprehensive training with guaranteed academic quality through a faculty of nearly 100% full-time professors with postgraduate studies. Likewise, the teaching staff is distinguished by its participation in research and artistic creation, as an example, 48% of full-time professors belong to the National System of Researchers (SNII).
