We are the IEEE Student Branch at Stony Brook University, the largest IEEE student organization on Long Island and a multi-award-winning club. Led entirely by students, our 17-member executive board plans, hosts, and executes over 64 events annually, bringing together more than 1,100 attendees.
As a student-run organization, our mission is to empower students by providing opportunities for professional development through technical, academic, and social events.
Our flagship events include:
- Micromouse, where we have earned over six awards since 2023
- OPS (Open Project Space) Workshops
- Soldering Workshops, helping students develop hands-on technical skills
- Student-Professor Mixer, fostering connections between students and faculty
