Helen Winfrey works at Mettler-Toledo, LLC Standard Industrial-OEM Division for over 20 yrs.  She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida. She specialized in Electronics Hardware design with focus on Electromagnetic Compatibility compliance and hazardous area application.  She serves as technical advisor to product development team during New Product Design Introduction (NPDI). She is a Senior Member of IEEE, 2 nd Term Chair of Columbus Section, founding Chair of IEEE-Columbus Women in Engineering, and a Licensed Amateur Radio
(ARRL) operator (call sign WH6MW).

Outside of work, Helen volunteers at Columbus Dream Center to serve people and bring some encouragement to those who are less fortunate and struggling financially. She is passionate about encouraging young people to pursue a career in Engineering and Technology. She enjoys learning new recipes (especially baking), traveling, hiking, and organizing events.
