Mary Ann Saunders is the Engineering Manager at Rampart Communications where she leads a highly talented team developing revolutionary technology. She has over a decade of experience working in the wireless communications domain for the U.S. Government and has a technical background in radio frequency communications and systems engineering. Prior to joining Rampart Communications in 2023, she spent over 11 years at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) leading projects to develop quick reaction communications capabilities and deliver them to deployed operators. Mary Ann also has extensive experience building, growing, and leading technical teams.

Mary Ann earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
