- The speaker materials consist of slides in MS PowerPoint format and the notes for each slide in word document. Basically, the word document contains the slide number and associated notes. professional would prepare an e-book based on the speaker supplied content. Please see the attachment for the finished e-book format here. Speakers are requested to provide the PPT slides along with the notes for each slide in a separate word document. The slides and notes are needed by September 3rd for the event starting September 20th.
- Videos: There are two modes available for each speaker. Each speaker has to indicate and coordinate desired preference with the organizers.
a. Complete live instruction followed by live Q&A. We would be using either WebEx or Zoom for this. Recordings will be posted at IEEE CASS Resource Center.
b. Instructor records videos for each of the workshop-as a collection of 30-minute video lectures. See the document here on how to record using Zoom. We will stream them using WebEx or Zoom at the specified schedule. The instructor still has to be online on WebEx or Zoom to answer simple questions via chat, and complex questions via video by pausing the streaming. This one gives more control for the speaker for the quality of the talks. Attendees would see a recorded speaker or live speaker based on the situation. If speaker prefer this approach, please let us know and speaker would need to supply their pre-recorded videos by September 3rd. Also, speakers would need to schedule a dry run with organizers.
