Preparation of Papers
Papers must be submitted in IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF format by the deadline mentioned. Original unpublished papers are solicited.
Paper length must be minimum of four pages and maximum of six pages of A4 size paper including figures and references. Its content must be original and unpublished. The manuscript must be prepared to conform to IEEE Conference format, e.g. font type, size, column, etc.
Read the paper preparation guidelines below PRIOR to preparing your paper for electronic submission and use the IEEE paper template to ensure your submission meets the requirements.
Papers for review must clearly state:
- The purpose of the work;
- The manner and degree to which it advances the art accompanied with proper references;
- Specific new results that have been obtained with clear experimental conditions and their significance.
The degree to which the paper deals with these issues will strongly affect whether the paper is accepted. The most common cause of rejection of submitted papers is a lack of specific results. Only work that has not been previously published at the time of the conference will be considered. Paper acceptance will be based solely on the information provided on the four-page paper submitted. Promises of upcoming results will be ignored. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism.
Paper Preparation Instructions
Before submitting your paper for review you must submit the source file to the IEEE PDF Express site to create the Xplore compliant PDF. Once you have approved the Xplore compliant PDF, you will then upload that file to the EDKCON submission site.
How to Create an IEEE Xplore Compliant PDF
Step 1: Create your PDF eXpress Account by logging into the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site.
First-time users: Select “Create Account” and enter the following:
- Conference ID: 62339X
- Your email address
- A password
- Continue to enter information as prompted.
- An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
Previous users: Previous users of PDF eXpress or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus need to follow the steps above but should enter the same password used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Step 2: Upload your source file. Once the Xplore compliant PDF has been created you will receive an email. Review the PDF and if it is correct, that is the file you will upload to the EDKCON submission site.
