TRAVEL INFORMATION
The City is located on the European highway direction E-75 that connects the central with the southern and eastern part of the continent, and only fifty kilometres from it passes another road direction, E-70, that connects the western and eastern Europe. The border crossings with Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina are from 50 to 120 kilometres away from Novi Sad.

TAXI
Belgrade airport has a fixed-fare scheme for taxi rides from the airport to all destinations. A trip from Belgrade airport to Novi Sad costs a flat rate fare of €60 (7,055 RSD).
Please note that in order to get a taxi, you will first need to get a paid slip for your journey at the Taxi Information counter in the ‘Baggage Claim’ hall. You can then make your way to Belgrade airport’s official taxi rank just outside the Arrivals Hall’s exit doors. You will then need to hand your slip to the first available taxi driver before starting your journey.
If you wish to travel with a local English-Speaking driver at a fixed price with no extra fees, it is recommended to pre-book a private transfer.

BUS
Another great option for those travelling on a budget is to take the bus. Unfortunately, there are no direct public transportation options from BEG to Novi Sad, meaning that you will have to make your way from the airport to the city centre beforehand, which takes around 30 minutes. Moreover, once you reach Novi Sad’s bus stop, you will have to find a way to the city centre or your hotel, as the bus stop is located 2.6 km away from downtown.

From Slavija Square you need to get down the Nemanjina street to Central Bus Station.

Bus fares vary depending on the bus company you travel with; a bus fare from Belgrade to Novi Sad usually costs around €7 (900 RSD).
Please note that this price doesn’t include your trip from Belgrade airport to the city centre.

The bus leaves Belgrade’s central bus station every hour. The bus to Novi Sad is available daily from 04:00 to 22:00.
