With great pleasure, we welcome all of you to 2024 IEEE International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT2024) will be held at Sendai, Japan from April 15th-18th, 2024.
iWAT is a series of annual international antenna workshops that have been held in Singapore (2005), White Plaines, USA (2006), Cambridge, UK (2007), Chiba, Japan (2008), Santa Monica, USA (2009), Lisbon, Portugal (2010), Hong Kong, China (2011), Tucson, USA (2012), Karlsruhe, Germany (2013), Sydney, Australia (2014), South Korea (2015), Orlando, USA (2016), Athens, Greece (2017), Nanjing, China (2018), Miami, USA (2019), Bucharest, Romania (2020), Dublin, Ireland (2022), and Aalborg, Denmark (2023).
The iWAT2024 is sponsored and organized by the IEEE Antennas & Propagation Society (AP-S) Tokyo/Sapporo/Sendai/Shin-Etsu Joint Sections Chapter. IEEE iWAT2024 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Antennas & Propagation Society, IEEE Antennas & Propagation Society Nagoya/Kansai/Fukuoka Chapters, and Communications Society of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE). IEEE iWAT2024 is held in cooperation with Research Institute of Electrical Communication, Tohoku University, IEEE Sendai Section, and Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association.
The venue of iWAT2024 is Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. Sendai is one of Japan’s central cities with a perfect harmony of long history over 400 years and beautiful nature. Tohoku University is well-known as the center of excellence in the antenna field and the birthplace of the Yagi-Uda antenna and the self-complementary antenna. It is our great pleasure to have the opportunity to hold iWAT2024 in Sendai, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Yagi-Uda antenna. We express our sincere gratitude to all those who have supported iWAT2024.
The iWAT2024 will be held as a “live in-person event” and we are looking forward to meeting you in Sendai, Japan.
